Yes, you can for the first 2 rides but do need to sign up after that.

The rides average 10 miles and 1000 feet elevation, with various stops for the group to catch up.

First 2 rides are free, after that it's £3 a year(!) for adults and £4 a ride for juniors (all costs go back to the club, fully run by volunteers).

For the first few rides just yourself, a working bike and a helmet! Longer term you'll need to be responsible for yourself with puncture kits, spare tubes, etc.

The main visitor centre charges — see prices. Regular visitors would benefit from an annual membership that includes free parking at Delamere. There's also lots of free parking on Ashton Road.

Yes, the regular rides continue through winter, with lights required.
